Varnished edge glued cedar 11′ rowboat that I found on Craigslist for $400 about 25 years ago. I turned her into a sailing dinghy/tender for my 43′ Sailboat and used her for my Mexico voyages. I occasionally tow her and didn’t want a centerboard trunk so designed leeboards using Bruynzeel type plywood salvaged from floorboards of an old inflatable mounted to an old aluminum roller furler extrusion that I epoxied a beautiful mahogany veneer to and installed with clamp on stainless steel oarlocks, a rudder from an El Toro, 2 piece carbon fiber windsurfing mast, fiberglass windsurfer top mast for the boom and a modified windsurfing sail with my unique brailing system to douse the sail quickly for sailing up to the mother ship, docks or shore.
