Built in 2006, Clementine is the first build of the Belhaven 19 designed by Graham Byrnes of B & B Yacht Designs (BandByachtdesigns.com). Construction is marine plywood with stitch and glue joints and fiberglass cloth on the exterior. She has a square bottomed lead keel and sits upright when beached.
She has undergone two surgeries since I bought the boat in 2012. The first project was the 2016 replacement of the cabin top with a taller arched roof for improved sitting head room. This was followed in 2025 by replacement of the original plastic windows with oval port lights. The eyebrow trim was intended to conceal the extra cabin height.
The unique features of Clementine are her shallow keel, off-center center-board, stability, roomy cabin, and easily managed 164 square foot cat ketch rig.
