Love the Wooden Boat Festival and working with great people? Join our incredible team of Volunteer Captains—the folks who help make the magic happen all weekend long.
Each Captain leads a specific area or event at the Festival, coordinating the volunteers who keep things running smoothly. Many of our Captains partner up as Co-Captains—because everything’s more fun with a teammate!
Captain Roles:
With more than 30 Festival areas and around 75 Captains, there’s a place for everyone to pitch in and lead with heart. Here a just a few of the areas where you’ll find Captains in action:
