I purchased this boat about 25 years ago half sunken in Gig Harbor. I fell in love with it at first site. It was the launch for the Triton Yacht. I brought it home and re corked – re fastened and restored her. After several years I sold the boat back to a gentleman who was the new owner of the Triton. I lost track of the boat but after 20 years I Saw an ad on Poulsbo Craigslist that said ” Old wood boat in poor shape and will deliver”. I bought the boat. It was in sad shape and I debated whether or not it would ever see the water again. After 10 months of work it was ready to launch. The boat is not perfect but no wooden boat is. To a boat builder, a wood worker, or a Sailor there is nothing like a wood boat. The smell , the feel is something you never forget.
