Mr Mallard was launched by Sam Devlin on the same day his eldest son was born. I bought her in a sadly neglected state to save her from the fate of being a pond diorama. After a thorough restoration and a few years of sailing I succumbed to the temptation of a larger boat and sold her. A few years later I was able to bring her home again. This year Mr Mallard is enjoying a new cockpit sole and improved storage.
