The lines for this boat were taken from an old E. M. white 16 ft pulling boat that belonged to Tom Henessey ,an outdoor columnist for the Bangor(Maine) Daily News. This boat was built in 2017 by Georges River Canoe in Warren Maine. They do restorations on old wooden canoes and fishing boats. Only a few of these boats are known to exist. They are stable and row easily.

The boat’s particulars are as follows:
Length: 16 ft.,Beam:50 in.: Depth amidships:15in. Height at decks:25in.
Heavily built with 3/16 inch planking and 3/8 inch ribs of northern white cedar. Inside gunwales and seat rails are white spruce. Seats, seat knees,carrying thwarts,decks and outside rails are mahogany. Inside finish is marine spar finish. Outside finishes with clear West System epoxy over 2 layers 6oz cloth for strength and to accent natural cedar colors. Two rowing stations.
