Glencannon

In Festival Boats 2024

I rescued Glencannon in 2007 after she sat in dry storage for 30 years. She was a rough fish boat that I spent the next 8 years converting her into a sweet little pocket cruiser. The last 2 yrs of her restoration were spent in the Schooner Martha shop where I worked under the experienced eyes and supervision of Robert D’Arcy and Doug Jones. She is now in her 9th year on the water, taking me cruising on the Columbia and Willamette rivers, the San Juan Islands and 2 cruises into the Canadian Gulf Islands. She has proven extremely able on the Columbia River Bar. and a number of rock crossings of the Strait of San Juan de Luca.
