Moon Lady was constructed in 2019 by instructor Jody Boyle and his students at the NWSWB in Port Hadlock. She was built pretty much as designed by John Gardner except for using local red cedar on white oak, a thicker transom, and changes to the bow cuddy. As a smaller version of a traditional lobster boat, she handles the inland waters of Puget Sound with smooth grace and flow, making her even more beautiful on the go. She was a safety chase boat during the 2021 Salish 100 cruise and is now used for overnight cruising throughout the sound and San Juans.
