The Marian II has been lovingly maintained in covered, fresh water moorage since 1928. She was owned for 50 years by Herb and Virginia Cleaver, the founding members of the Classic Yacht Association. Between the late 1990s and early 2000s she was restored by Tim Ryan of CSR Marine in Seattle. He re-powered her with a Diesel engine. Since 2014 she has been owned by experienced classic owner Diane Lander who has taken her as far as Desolation Sound. In the winter of 2016-2017 she received a new keel and bottom and other extensive work at Haven Boat Works in Port Townsend. Diane and her “crew” two French bulldogs, love sharing the boat with the public. Come on down and visit her during the festival.
