Petrel was build as a commercial offshore fishing boat in 1928 by the Columbia Boat Company. She fished the Pacific Northwest Waters for almost 80 years until she returned to Coos Bay, Oregon and was completely rebuilt by Scott Robinson wih work completed in 2002. Scott is a cabinet maker and the beautiful mahogany cabinetry on Petrel is exceptional. She is well powered with a Detroit 3-71 and sports a roomy engine room. The pilot house is comfortable and the galley is complete.
