Pacific Pioneer In Festival Boats 2017 The Pacific Pioneer launched in 1951 as the P&T Pioneer in service to the mill at Port Gamble. Today the Pioneer is being converted into a comfortable tug to enjoy local waters. Renovations are being done in keeping with the boat’s history.
