Josephine is a former Salmon Troller built in 1934 by Tacoma Boat Co. She has either fished or cruised the Northwest and Alaskan waters for the last 82 years and is well taken care of by her owner Sam Devlin. Devlin bought her from Tom Dobbins in 1999 and after a 5 year project of re-building he has used her to cruise up and down the coast since. This years Cruise was from Olympia to Kynoch Inlet in Northern British Columbia in the company of another couple of Devlin Boats. She is a great looking example of the quintessential Northwest Salmon Troller one of the most beautiful and highly evolved types of Fishing boats in the world. Power is a John Deere 4045 and she marches thru the water with ease in all types of water conditions. She is celebrating her 82 year at the show this year, and truly looking forward to more years.
