22′ Devlin Surf Scoter built by the owner in his two car garage using the “stitch and glue” method. I started building the boat when my son was three months old and launched her when he was five years old. My family of three cruised Island Spirit all over the Salish Sea from Olympia to the Broughton Archipelago (the boat seemed to get smaller and smaller as my son got older!). We fish from her, dive from her, swim from her (there are a few warm bays around here), and often just hang out on her taking in the scenery or watching the wildlife.
