Vixen had a complete rebuild in Port Townsend during the 1990s under the skilled guidance of Les Schnick. When Bruce and Tiffany Halabisky bought her in 2002 she was essentially a brand new boat with all the history of a boat from 1952. This extensive restoration allowed her to complete a second 11 year circumnavigation with her new owners.
