Sir Isaac was built in 1984 for shorthanded offshore sailing and she did! Several trips to Hawaii, then on to Australia, Japan and back. We bought her in 2001 and sailed her locally for 5 years before beginning an extensive restoration project. She was in our shop for 10 years while we replaced her decks, cabin and completed necessary hull work. Her keel is made of bronze. Since relaunching in 2016 we have sailed Sir Isaac year round in the Northwest both cruising and racing.
