I built this boat in 2006 using plans that I purchased from the Cape fear Museum in North Carolina. It is constructed with 1/4″ epoxy coated Meranti plywood planking with Doug Fir frames and gunnels and is held together with a combination of bronze screws, ring nails and epoxy. The bottom section is sheathed with 20oz epoxy fiberglass. It is powered with a 25HP motor and has a top speed of 20 Kts. We have caught many Salmon and Crab from this boat
