Serenity

Serenity traces its origins to a working salmon set-net skiff, a type of boat shaped by long days on cold water and the practical demands of coastal fishing. This style of wooden hull closely resembles the North Eastern English coble—robust, open craft designed to be launched and hauled in challenging conditions. In my family’s heritage, cobles were central to fishing and crabbing, earning a living through hard weather, teamwork, and intimate knowledge of tide and sea. That lineage of working boats lives on in Serenity, carrying forward a tradition of utility, resilience, and respect for the waters that sustained generations of fishermen.
