Penguin is a 19′ Bartender which is a unique double-ended planing boat, designed by George Calkins. It is one of the last hulls he built and was advertised in the back of Woodenboat Magazine issue #109. She is marine plywood on mahogany frame construction. In 2005, she was restored with the small doghouse and raised windshield and self-bailing cockpit. She is powered by a 40HP, 2-stroke, outboard placed in a motorwell.
