The PATAMAR was home built and the materials carefully selected. It has lasted all these years and remains very seaworthy and usable. Most summers it has traveled the Salish Sea. It is powered by a Yanmar diesel after having a GMC truck 292 engine and a Studebaker gas engine. The decks are original canvas, the cabin teak, the hull red cedar, and the frames white oak. It has been a member of the Classic Yacht Association and the Seattle Yacht Club. I am the 5th owner. It lives in a boathouse near the Ballard Locks.
