The MV Pelican was built in Newport News, VA, of longleaf yellow pine. It served on the east coast, opened brown shrimp fishery in the Gulf of Mexico, and served in WWII in Alaska before serving Washington State BoF. It was sold to Walt Masland in auction in 1972, then sold to us 2017.
