KEA, built by John and Ann Weir in Nainimo, B.C., has cruised the Salish Sea and West Coast since her launch in 1968. Mark and Kathy Anderson-Keele,purchased her from the NW Maritime Center and currently are in the process of completing an extensive refit hoping to continue her storied history. Kea has appeared in several publications including WoodenBoat ( August.2020 ) and “Sailing with Vancouver” by former owner Sam McKinney.
