Ghita is a nordic folkboat built in Thisted, Denmark in 1966 by the Hovmark brothers, she raced and cruised there for the first 22 years. In 1988 the present owner spent a summer sailing her in Denmark, before shipping her to the pacific northwest in a container ( a container??? but why) She has been here ever since. In 2016 she got a new deck and cabin and watertight cockpit ( not self bailing) and this year a new mast and sails.
