Applications are now open for the next year’s 50th Wooden Boat Festival Featured Poster Artist.
Since 1977, original artwork has helped define the spirit of the festival—appearing on posters, merchandise, and festival marketing seen by thousands each year. For the 50th Annual Wooden Boat Festival in 2027, we’re once again inviting artists from across the United States to submit original maritime- or wooden boat-inspired artwork for consideration.
After submissions are received, a juried panel will select three finalist designs to move forward to a public vote. The selected artist will receive a $3,000 commission, festival-wide exposure, and promotion through festival media, marketing, and events.
Applications close June 30, 2026.
