In the dead of night, hundreds of miles from land, Steven Callahan watched as his boat slipped beneath the waves.

Directed by Joe Wein and narrated by Callahan himself, 76 Days Adrift recounts his unimaginable 76-day fight for survival at sea. Featuring a haunting original score by Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump, the film delivers a raw, immersive experience.

With real 8mm footage and faithfully recreated gear, the documentary captures the emotional and physical intensity of Callahan’s journey like never before.

Don’t miss the screening on Friday at 7 PM at the Adventure Stage at the 2025 Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival.
