Pacifica (Eroica) was designed by Sparkman and Stephens for Avard Fuller of the Fuller Brush Co. She was built in the winter of 1946 and launched in May 1947 at the H B Nevins yard in City Island ,NY. She is one of a long line of Olin Stephens iconic yawls.

Pacifica has sailed extensively in the Atlantic and the Pacifica oceans. Lots of times up and down the East Coast, one Bermuda Race, once to the Mediterranean Sea. She transited the Panama Canal in 165, sailed four times to Hawaii ( two TransPacs). She has also sailed up and down the west coast. She has over 100 thousand sea mile on her own bottom.
We have owned Pacifica since 1996 and in that time have only had to replace her deck. (So far). This last winter her 76 year old mast had some minor up grades. A new mast head, new winches (Barient), and new synthetic standing rigging. This winter we plan on rebuilding the cockpit and perhaps make new steering wheel, styled after her original.
