This boat was built because my favorite 12′ Wee Lassie canoe was too small for both me and my dog Hershey. I also wanted a boat capable of making camping trips of several days specifically targeting Ross Lake in the Northern Cascades and the Green River in Utah. Constructed during the winter of 24/25 of hand milled Douglas Fir strips accented with Walnut and Bloodwood laminations.
