The Sailing RowCruiser is the most versatile boat from the Angus Rowing Company. They have taken the basic RowCruiser hull (a versatile boat on its own, which provides sleeping accommodation and impressive rowing performance) and added a performance ketch sailing rig with planing amas (outriggers). The result is a boat that can sail up to 11 or 12 knots, or in calms can be rowed at 4 knots for hours. This is an economical boat that turns heads, and straightforward stitch and glue construction is utilized for the three hulls.

The main hull can also be used on its own as a simple mono-hull rowing vessel. The small cabin is sufficiently sized for an adult to sleep comfortably in weathertight accommodation while anchored or at dock. The cabin is also an ideal passenger carrier, protecting occupants from wind and spray. An adult and a small child can comfortably fit in the cabin while underway.

The boat comes with lots of expedition gear, like a pulley anchoring system and a bucket with toilet seat.
Sails are rigged with halyards, allowing you to douse them quickly. There is also a canopy for rain that is partly suspended by the main halyard.
Seat rails are inset into the seats, allowing more room for legs while rowing and maneuvering about the boat

Skids on the bottom of the hull for beaching, to protect the hull from rocks, barnacles etc. on the beach. They are bare yellow cedar and will likely last the life of the boat. Rudder can be raised and lowered by lines from the cockpit. Main hatch and aft hatch have metal hardware and are quickly secured

Items included with purchase are a dolly for rolling the boat on land on smooth surfaces, anchor with 6 feet of chain and line, and 3 inflatable beach rollers. The oars are Concept 2 Bantam. They are 9′ 2″, very light carbon composite with durable plastic blades.
