Michael Norman built her at Mud Bay on Lopez Island. She was basic transportation for Decatur Island owners until federal agents seized her for rum running; they used her as a pursuit boat. Ownership eventually returned to Decatur Island after repeal of prohibition. Restored by Charlie Bowers in 1948 – 50, sold to Bob Schoen of Orcas Island in 1960 and converted to steam power, Purchased in 1973 by Stephanie Hylton of Lopez Island. Frames amidships replaced with juniper natural crooks by Geremy Snapp and Helmut Fischer of Lopez, 1991. Engine and boiler replaced 2002-2003.
