Vessel description
To fulfill a demand for a strong, seaworthy and inexpensive boat for cruising and racing, Scandinavian boat designers created the Danish class Spidsgatters. Though most of the class was built before World War II, many of the boats are still under sail. Eio is a 38-square-meter Spidsgatter imported from Denmark to Vancouver, B.C. in the late ’50s. James and Deborah Klose bought her in 1985 and began an ongoing upgrade.
